About SSAKI
Slovak Society for Applied Cybernetics and Informatics (SSAKI) is a member organization of the Association of Slovak Scientific and Technological Societies. The society was founded and registered at the Ministry of the Interior and the Environment of the Slovak Republic in 1990 as a civil association with the mission of supporting the development of cybernetization and computerization of society in Slovakia, creating conditions for the purposeful connection of individual and group professional interests of SSAKI members and their associations. The membership base of SSAKI consists of individual and collective members, members registered in SSAKI branches and sponsoring members.
Branches
- SSAKI branch at at Institute of Control and Informatization of Production Processes (URIVP) of the Faculty of mining, ecology, process control and geotechnoligies of the Technical university of Košice
- SSAKI branch at Department of Computers and Informatics (KPI) of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Technical university of Košice
Membership in transnational organizations
SSAKI is a member of the Czech & Slovak Society for Simulation (CSSS), an umbrella organization for modeling and simulation in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. CSSS is a member of the European federation of simulation companies EUROSIM.
